5th cycle (2013 - 2015) orthophoto maps

• Aerial photography is carried out in a 3-year cycle from 2013 to 2015, performed by the Polish company MGGPAero
• Obtained 3 types of digital aerial - color (RGB), infrared (NIR) and black and white (PAN)
• Colored orthophoto maps are being prepared with resolution of 0.25 meters for central part of Latvia and resolution of 0.4 meters for transition area
• Infrared and black and white orthophoto cards are made to order only
• To reduce the size of a digital file, a 1:10,000 orthophoto map of each scale is divided and stored in four files (files) according to a 1: 5,000 map page nomenclature.
• One orthophoto map file with a resolution of 0.25 meters has a capacity of 286 MB and one orthophoto map file with a resolution of 0.4 meters has a capacity of 111 MB

Infrared orthophoto maps for 2013-2014 data are also made.

Black and white orthophoto maps are made only on request.

Aerial photography cycle 5 (2013-2015) color and infrared orthophoto maps are available in TIFF format with LKS-92 TM coordinate system, as well as in compressed SID format, merged into files according to a scale of 1:50,000 map pages.
